Fashion Week at Home - Day 1

 Hello !

Welcome to Fashion Week at Home y'all!

Get excited, for I am pumped. So this idea just slapped me while I was on Instagram, I am not pro like Fashion Week (it's less about style and fashion and more about brands paying celebrities to wear their clothes and sit front row at their shows, and that's boring) BUT in college, me and best friend drooled over our favorite bloggers fashion week outfits. And since the whole world is like closed I thought I would bring Fashion Week home to me (you also wouldn't be seeing any fat bodies at fashion week). So there is going to be 5 outfits this week that IF anyone even remotely cared to see me in, I would wear to Fashion Week. Now I am aware that it's the Spring/Summer styles that brands are showcasing, but I don't care. Here's me in some Fall cuteness.

Outfit One:

This was the second outfit that popped into my head when this idea came to me. Let's start at the top, I've had this thrifted sleeveless blazer for about 4-5 years and I swear it just doesn't get as much love as it should. The length and the gold hardware really make the whole blazer for me. I was a bit uncertain about how the longer length of the blazer would pair with the already long skirt and had originally thought to wear this outfit with a more traditional blazer length, but I love how it turned out.

This satin Cheetah print skirt is an item that for some reason makes me feel really traditional and feminine. I think it's because the length is so long and that feels like something my mother would wear. Which is why I paired it with my stompy Doc Martens, as we all know I am in love with these boots and was soo excited to whip them back out once the weather turned the slightest bit chilly. And of course, this outfit couldn't be completed without putting on my black cropped turtleneck and my again thrifted black leather bag.

I feel like I say this often but, this look is different for me, but somehow still very me. Some more soft girly bits, with black and more masculine pieces.

Lemme know what you all think about this look, would you wear it ? Wouldn't you? And let me know your dream Fashion Week outfit is? (mine is coming later this week)
