DAMN.

I am a very introspective person by nature and I feel like when terrible things happen in the world around me, I become even more self-reflective. We already know what's wrong and what can be done to change it. It’s in our hands to combat the violence and hatred with understanding, unity, and education. I am not here to preach about what is going on in the world or who is at fault for what happens but one thing we can all agree on is that what happened in Las Vegas on Sunday night was senseless and terrible. I feel like I’ve gone on for long enough about this, I’ll leave some links to where you can help if you feel moved enough to and if you have anything to spare. So onto your regular post !

Midterms are quickly closing in and I am just barely dealing with all the stress of my final year of college is steadily building. From internship hunting to final year projects, this year is moving faster than all four years combined. I am currently keeping on top of it but I will definitely keep you updated. For now, let’s talk about Red!

Red is the color of Fall 2017, and I have to say I am excited about it. I am currently on the hunt for a pair of heeled Red ankle boots. If color isn’t your thing or you’re unsure of how to blend sure a bold pop of color into your wardrobe I would say start with accents.

If you haven’t already read my Introduction Post then you probably don’t know all about my love of 80s music and old school rap. I won’t start waxing poetically about Kendrick Lamar and how amazing and talented he is and how the likes of him, J Cole and Chance the Rapper remind me of why I fell in love with the genre, to begin with.

But you should know that when I saw his “DAMN.” album merch I wanted my hands on all of it. I settled for getting the iconic T-shirt and ummed and ahhed over the color combination for a while.
At first, I was dead set on getting the black t-shirt with white lettering but once I set my eyes on the white and red combo I was sold. I knew that the white and red would look amazing with light blue jeans and black, which is what 85% of my wardrobe is made up of.

For this outfit I wanted to get out of jeans so I paired it with my beloved Elvi statement checked trousers and my black loafers, black and gold watch and my black and old sunglasses and I was all set. These pants are still killing the game for me, I feel amazing every time I put them on.  I love the way the red pops even with my statement trousers.
