Hello !
Am I the only person who sometimes puts on an item of clothing and looks in the mirror and is instantly hit with a That's So Raven-esque vision of all the different outfits I can wear it with? Well, it was one of those visions that created this look. Listen, I know we don't wanna talk about but the weather is getting cooler. Yes yes, I know, 'iT's sTiLl sUmMeR TiLl tHe 22nd' well, tell that to the comforter I just pulled outta the closet. It's getting cold at night yall, and I still wanna go outside (safely and socially distanced, and with a mask on) thus creating my favorite season of dressing. Transitional.
Some people find it hard to dress for the weather right now. Those few weeks when Summer is giving way to Fall or when Winter is thawing off (barely) and Spring is honestly trying it's best to exist (and failing, I still have a coat on but my ankles are definitely out). Those are some of my fav outfits. A cropped turtleneck top is practically the definition of transitional dressing. You would think why is it a turtleneck if it is also a crop top? Cause it is. And you are welcome. I bought this way back in the fall when I needed something to just toss on for happy hours after work. Guys, remember 'happy hour'? *sighs*
Everyone knows that thin ribbed turtlenecks are the pinnacle of sexy fall and winter dressing, you know this man ! (Guys! Remember 'work'? *BIG sigh*) A Ribbed turtleneck tucked into some trousers?? No one can tell me anything ! So it makes perfect sense that cropping that same top is all your sexy sexy Summer to Fall transitional needs. I personally love crop tops cause of my lust for all things high waisted, so I have this crop top in white as well. I paired it here with a wrap skirt, cause you gotta show off the Thigh Meat™ and just dug out (honestly had to dig for these) my animal print block heeled sandals. After spending most of the year not getting dressed pretty much at all, it felt great to put this top and get instant inspiration, I hope that doesn't go anywhere anytime soon, even if I'm still not.
Fall has the best fashion!! So many layers yay!!! Love this time of year for thag
